Toughhhh problem

I got new gauge faces, and the numbers dont match up, so i must get the gagues re-calibrated. does anyone know to to recalibrate the gauges on a 94 maxima.. the one with black gagues. Is there anywhere i can take it to be professionally done?

If u speak of analog gauges:

For calibration u need one well known reference set of gauges. The new and reference gauges being connected parallel, u might try to insert some extra loading components in series with your new one, to degrease the needle position.

There might ? already be a potentiometer inside the gauge for trimming...

Dunno if tough potentiometer (0-100ohms) would work; tst. That would be great, as its easy to trim.

Professionals have reference gauges which have better accuracy than the one being calibrated, producing better trims.

did u get the white face SE gauges or did u just get aftermarket ones???

if u got the white face SE gauges (145mph) they shouldn't be calibrated cuz it will still read ur correct speed. i did this to mine and it works just fine. now some people on here have attempted to do it the same way i did and they have had issues so u could either go with what internetautomar said or just take Wiking's idea.

...or maybe km/h?

internetautomar's suggestion is slam dunk. No warranty on 'my' adventure: 'some' previous electronics/gauge understanding is needed to get it through.
