Coolant a little frothy
I know I have a very slow coolant leak, even though, i never see any green stuff on the ground. today i went to top it up, and it was a tad frothy....couldnt really tell if it needed any, as when I went to top it up, it just brought the frothyness to the top.
Thanks in advance.

Check radiator visually and replace if leaking, dont wait to blow and warp engine heads.
If hoses leak, tighten clamps (originals do tighten 'automatically').
Old maximas had a engine block nut leak problem... see Nissan Tech bulletins, read stickies.
To get some extension miles, use leakage liguid quick fix. In the long run, its gonna be pricey...
Now you have air in your system. Air bubbles and uneven heating might cause engine damage: bleed the bubbles, drive one hour above 2000rpm with bleed valve or hose ajar (or see stickies).
Anyway functional system is always pressurized and leaking system is not, resulting into damage.

its strange....it is brown foam and when a mechanic looked at it, he was like you have the symptons of a blown head gasket, but your car doesnt run like you have a blown head gasket!! my car is actin real strange these days!!

i'll bet 50 bucks that your mechanic is not thinking correctly.
it sounds as if you don't replace the fluids as often as you should (no offence). Since automatic transmission fluid is red new, one might not think about that. But, as it gets older.... guess what.
It's brown.
Check your tranny cooler in your radiatior. It's probably leaking a wee bit. The water pump will churn it up some causing the froth (IF your head gasket is A-OK). If it's not that, it's a blown head gasket. HOWEVER, it might not be blown from coolant jacket to cylinder but rather from coolant jacket to oil galley.
In either scenario, take off your heads and check them out. In the meantime, get a rental. Save youself some money.
Get back to me about my bet too.
