cold air intake

Ok, i know that a cold air intake removes the MAF sensor, wouldn't that cause problems, like cause the check engine light to always be on?

cold air intake does NOT remove the MAF

it's still in there and used, some systems will require an adapter for it though

i'm not sure what would make one CAI better than another(besides the filter) i believe they all pull air from the same place and they all have pretty much the same contours for the air to flow through. unless you are worried about the sound that may be effected by material of the piping. if your questioning what has the best material is than i think anything that is PCed would be good. but i may be wrong.
