My max is acting a little sluggish .. Its pretty much stock, excpet for a K&N panel filter...

Anyway, I need new tires bad ( i have like 1/8 inch of tread left) and a brake job bad too. Could those two things have any effect on performance ( like accelerating )

My max just seems slow. Kinda ****ing me off. Used to feeling the power of 3 liters, it feels like I'm driving a 4 cylinder now. I dunno.

Ever done a tune up?...

You might be needing a tune up.. also, how is your gas milage?

My car has been feeling sluggish too, I get poor fuel economy, and it sounds louder as well... It can be many things, I don't see how tires and brakes can affect acceleration though...
