Hi there, I was just curious. Can you have both a JWT Pop-charger intake and a Cold air intake on you car at the same time. Or are they just the same type of thing but one's better than the other?

Well........

it is possible to attach the JWT intake to the end of the cold air intake. but they are two tottally different things, JWT intake mounts under the hood and pulls in air from the engine compartment area and the CAI mounts under the hood, but continues to the outside of the car via 3" piping(into the fenderwell) and pulls in cooler air from outside.

the difference in performance between the two has been in question for a while, but I don't see how colder air isn't a plus for the engine opposed to the JWT pulling warmer engine compartment air...

acutally, if I'm thinking correctly, the JWT is just a conical filter on the end of the MAF? the CAI has a conical filter on the end, so it's pretty much an elongated JWT intake.

So, the CAI comes with filter right? So that means that I wouldnt need the JWT pop-charger then, correct?
