Guys,

Reluctantly, I think the time to sell my maxima has arrived. I just bought a 2003 350z and I do not have space to keep both cars. Although the maxima is paid for, I'm still paying for the insurance coverage on it each month (not to mention that things are starting to break on it left and right and I have to pay for the repairs). I need the help of the third gen maxima community for one last time. Do you guys think I should sell it as a whole or part it out? Selling this car is like selling my right arm. I've had it since I was 15 (and I am now 25). I can't really stand to watch somebody else drive it, but if somebody offers me a good deal, I will be forced to take it. By the way, this has been an awesome forum for the last several years. I just want to let everybody know that I appreciate the help that you guys have provided me. Oh, and the carbon fiber hood deal...I'm surprised that everyone was able to pull together to make that thing work.

Wow, everyone moves on Dave. Good choice with the Z! I'd just sell the whole car. It might hurt more to see it all parted too.

 

Hopefully it goes into the right hands. You had it for 10 years and treated it right. What are you looking to get?

No not at all. I mean you mod list looks like a 3-gen's wet dream. Your car is one of the VERY few that can have that amount of mods and still looks really nice.

 

Man, that's too bad... sorry to hear that you have to sell it. Your car was definately one of the ones that inspired me with my old maxima, way back when. Good luck with the 350z, thats a great car to move on to, I'm sure it will treat you well!

david, 5k is a good price. i mean your obviously not going to sell it to a family that is looking for a 4 door,but to a ricer that wishes their car looked like that. lol, ya know.. cuz that thing should be strickly a show car... E bay.... maybe?
