foglight wiring

i'm sorry in advance if there was already a thread on this. I was wondering, if in my gxe there was already wiring for foglights, i looked under the hood, and tied to the turn signal wiring i saw and extra set of wired with a cap on the end, i was wondering if these are the wires for the foglights, also, if they are, is there already wiring for the on/off switch in the dash?

Nope. They maybe wired from the relay box but there's no relay, fuse, nor switch on the inside. I had factory fogs in my GXE but that was an extra option. Basically you have to wire everything yourself unless you are that bored so you can trace to which relay the wires goto. then you have wire them to something to turn on because there's no switch in the cabin.

there IS wiring already there for the stock fogs in the bumper for the lights and inside the car for the switch

it's usually taped back a little bit so you might have a hard time finding it

you'll need the foglight switch, fuse, relay (in front of battery box), and the lights themselves and you're set. All you have to do is mount the lights and plug the other things in.

I meant, from the top or bottom. I was hard to get the socket wrench in there I was looking for an easier way.

use an extension and get your head under the front of the car and take a look. I use a 1/4 inch socket wrench with an extension and it fits no problem.

To go eBay, get a set of Piaa's; they come with everything you need.

Just make sure you get some PB rust spray in there or the bolts will break, like in my car.

where did you get the lights, relay, and switch from?
i called like 5 salvage yards around my area and none have them. and i have asked people in the classifieds on here, but no one seems to have any. i don't really want aftermarket lights, cuz i love the looke of the factory ones.
