I put my pedals on

AE Crew

For some reason the gas pedal looks crooked in the pictures. I put that black cover back on the "stop" for the gas pedal even though the pedal does not hit it. (it never found its way on when I replaced the carpet when I first bought the car).

Now I just need to order the dead pedal, get the gauges and homelink installed and put my leather back in (which I will probably do later tonight ). Oh cleaning it and putting my steering wheel down would be good too.

I'm thinking about ordering the Redline Goods e-brake and shifter boots. I made my shift boot but meh. AE style sills would be nice but probably wont happen.

It's nice to see where my money went...

I need to get some new ones, mine were pieces of junk, and didn't want to stay on all the time. I guess I'm just an aggressive driver.

I think your gas pedal is crooked...

Vacuum cleaners are your friend.

The steering wheel wasn't that bad when I had it. Have you been chewing on the bottom part?

A little to much trim for a race car

There's a good cheap solution to that problem... walmart... they have everything

no dead pedal/ebrake handle/redline boots no care

seriously though . I wish we could get some sills. I want some gauge rings to match as well...I know I have seen someone with them.

I agree with both the sills and the gauge rings. My plastic sills are pretty chewed up (I think MrGone was hungry when he was working on my car!) and the newer cars with those gauge rings look tight.

I need to get a STS and a new shift boot. My stock one looks like crap compared to some of the ones you all have. Mike, your e-brake handle gets first prize, too

hehehe
I would go for the cefiero ones, but they are kinda $$$, but mainly I just want ones that say Maxima lol. Gauge rings, at first I did not like them, but they are kind of growing on me, basically if there was a GD for them I would be in (as long as they weren't uber expensive). Brian has pictures on his cardomain here.

hey Mr.Gone, I have those pedals as well. I also purchased the 350Z dead pedal and with minor modification made it fit. Looks alot better than that thin plastic covering and matches the pedals perfectly.

I really like those pedals.

Now why would I do that
A manual is completely pointless to me, I have swapped out sticks for a/t before and will probably be doing so again on my next "project" vehicle

I hate the stupid airbag wheel. I've been driving that car for like 3 years now and have yet to get accustomed to pushing the horn buttons on the sides of the steering wheel. First instinct is to mash the center of the wheel, then by the time i fumble around and find the little buttons it's too late to blare the horn at someone

What purchase?

If you eventually can get rid of them, make sure they go cross country to continue their nationwide Maxima voyage

MHT E-tune. 17x8, 35-ish offset.
$100+shipping takes 'em.
They're in pretty ratty condition, but they'll work if you want some 17s.

Get some of the autoVation pedals that they're having a GB on right now... they only require a few small holes drilled in the pedals and look much better than the AE pedals, IMO.

they do look good but I wouldnt say better (its all an opinion thing). The AE pedals look like a factory set of pedals that comes on a nice sedan. The autovation pedals look like they come on a race car. I dont want the race car look for my car. I want the nice factory looking luxury car look...does any of that make sense? lol
