Best place to get injectors?
I'm going to say internetautomart, I have dealt with him, and he got good competitive prices, and the product that I purchased, a control arm, is of good quality.
edit: if new is not your flavor, you might want to try checking with the local junkyards for a low mileage Max of your year model, and pull those (a bit risky however)

Also you can get rebuilt ones for about $40 each from aftermarket stores. Some say they aren't very reliable though. I do have six rebuilt from "Python" and have been running close to 4,000 miles now.. No problems.
Dealer is the best place to get, but the most expensive.

Hi,
donot get rebuilt injector they have short life span on them,
if you can get used one they are better then the rebuilt or remanufactured one,
if you have the money get new one they are better,
but if you don't have money i would say get used one my be they are old but still they are better then those remanufacture/rebuilt ones,
find low miles fuel injector ones,

Go with internetautomart the price for new is good and will stand by the product. I had to get mine fixed immediatley and was forced to pay $25 more for a new injector. I shop alot for my parts and his stuff is always competative

If the remanufactured last 1/3 of new, all u loose only work costwise??? And may get by two years which is huge faith leap anyway on these oldies...

I do not understand what u cant understand. eh. U dont understand what I try to understand etc.
Is there any thing in the 3 issues I could try to explain better?
1. the injector structure
2. i-shop
3. mathematics - which cost more per mile
I've replaced 5 out of 6 injectors on my max since i got it
2 of the remans have already completely failed and were replaced with new.
a 3rd reman is now begining to fail, so the last 3 remaining reamans are all being pulled and swapped for new.
I can't risk having my car down and the resultant loss of time and money. to keep replacing injectors every year or so.
I think if i was driving the max right now, I'd have made up the difference between new and reman just on gas wasted

Is it the coil that goes?
not 100% sure, I've talked to the rebuilders about it. But I forgot what they said, besides that they were throwing out 90% of the cores they got because they were un rebuildable

I understand what you said for the most part, except for 2 things...
1)"Somebody somewhwre wrote that theres a sieve in the top end of injector that maybe clogged. true/untrue?" -
I don't know if thats true/untrue, but did somebody write that? &
2)"If the remanufactured last 1/3 of new, all u loose only work costwise??? And may get by two years which is huge faith leap anyway on these oldies..." - Are you reffering to the remanufactured lasting 2 years?
