m-Y-stery water circ

I have been wondering how water actually is pumped around in VG30E:

a. while thermostat is closed
b. while thermostat is open

I do know the basic circ how pumped cooling liguid circles cyliner&head, returns direct until warmed , but how flow goes on this Y block?

1. attached to intake low part assy
2. tube from/to thermostat
3. tube to radiator

Q: only for those [I can guess, no hlp needed] who have opened their VG engines: tell me.

The Nissan FSM document writer has been out like snowoman in this issue: she has left that part blank.

Well, that is better than this joke she wrote in the FSM: throttle opens 135 degrees... *gulp* my TB flaps were swallowed, trown out on BMW -face behind ... if my throttle flaps turned even 90 degrees...
