diameter of the stock sway bars....
diameter of the stock sway bars....
does anyone know off the top of your head the size of the stock sway bars on the VG30? Interesting enough, enegry suspension sells the bushings alone with different sizes at Autozone. I was wondering just to change the bushings for the time being... On my old max, I had purchased the ST kit from Stillen and the only difference I say on the kit was the rear sway bar being heavier, the stock front sway bar was heavier than the ST kit...
your help is much appreciated...

Are your stock bushings rotted? Just changing the stock sway bar bushings to polyurethane won't do too much, IMHO.
changing the stock sway bar bushings to poly will actually do quite a bit of good...
The stock and Sus Tech front sway bars are the same diameter, but the stock bar is only 0.090" wall tubing and weighs about 8lb, max.. The ST bar is SOLID and weighs about 35lb. MUCH stronger than the OE bar.
the rear factory bar is like 1/2", and the ST bar is around 9/16". addco is 5/8".. those are numbers right off the top of my head, but they're something in that ballpark.
