My '94 runs great but smells like rotten eggs. Asked the dealer and they said it is very unusual for the catylitic converter to go. Said is was likely some other emissions issue. Any ideas guys?

The dealer is a dumbarse.. rotten eggs are classic symptoms of cat failure...

Yeah, something else may be wrong CAUSING the failure, but the smell is from the cat going bad on you. replace that and have them run a diagnostic on the car while it's being done. that <I>should</i> find any other problems before ruining another cat.

I would put my money on the cat just being worn out. it's actually fairly common.. I hear this about once a month.
