Turbocharging VG

well, I've searched through the stickies as well as google, but haven't found much. I was told here that putting a turbo on a GXE (VG30DE) is a reliable way to get huge horsepower gains. So my questions are:

1. Where can a turbo kit be found, and how much will it cost?
2. How easy of an install is this?
3. Do any other internal mods need to be done to accomadate the turbo?
-If so, what will be the total cost of everything together.
4. What is the average power gain from turbocharging (horsepower and torque)
5. Is it completely legal?
6. How will it affect the daily driving characteristics (auto tranny), as well as fuel economy.

Sorry for the n00bish questions. I'm looking at a '93 GXE in pretty good condition with 102k miles for $2750. Just trying to gather some info before buying.

1 - if there was a "KIT" then we would all be rocking it..(ok maybe not)
2 - if you have to ask...fo-git-about-it
3 - internal mods...depends on boost
4 - see 3
5 - depends on where you live
6 - wave bye bye to stock tranny

the maxima's actually have a vg30e, not the vg30de which is too big to fit in the maxima's engine bay.

you'll pretty much have to make your own kit as no one makes one for our cars. as shawn said, i have a bit of a writeup on my cardomain site http://members.cardomain.com/mtcookson

Doesn't seem like a bad buisness propisition for someone to actually create a sellable kit for our cars, eh?

How much money do you have RIGHT NOW that you can drop on a kit.

No payments, layaway, blah blah blah.
