Hey guys, I am going to get the Bose speakers out and use my new Pioneer TS-A6960R 220W with no amp for now, tight budget. Anyways, I was looking at the wires that go in the Bose Amp on the rear deck and I noticed 4 wires, one black, a red one ( I am assuming 12v and ground) and two others, a blue striped white and a blue striped black. Are those the negative and positive wires for the speaker? Can I use them for now? I am going to buy an amp to power up the 6x9s and the subwoofer, but the amps are going to have to wait awhile. Once I am able to, I will rewire everything and get it done right.

Also, can someone tell me once and for all what size speakers there are in the door trims? I heard 4", I've heard 4x6s and I have even heard that you can fit a 6x9 in the door molding... I tried to get the door panel off this afternoon, but I couldn't. I went on Craig B's website and I did everything it is told there, but I guess I was afraid to break the fasteners. Anybody's got a better way to get the door panel off?

Thanks!

if you have bose they are 4". non bose was 4x6" the two smaller guage wires are for the speaker signal. i dont remember pos or neg, but you cant try it one way if it dosent sound right go the other way. its a good idea to talk to James92SE and order up a set of his brackets for the 6 and 1/2s. i dont know any other way to get the door of easily

Follow the directions on Craig's site, but be prepared. The car is a 3rd gen. Plastic doesn't last forever. Go to your Nissan dealership tomorrow and buy a bag of about 20 panel clips. You'll thank yourself later. If you like to be cheap, take one out of your panel and match them up at a parts store. Motormite or Balkamp has an assortment of christmas tree clips that may work. Have fun.

So, just get the screws out and pull the panel out, right? Ok, I'll see if I can get the fasteners at Nissan and I'll post the outcome later.

Thanks!
