True, there the safety margin is much narrowerwit VE. And I am not suggesting that everybody should bypass KS, by no means that should be done by everybody. With certain criteria fulfilled I still insist its ok.

Comparison here to these general EU "peanut" size -engine population, VG 9:1 ratio is very low.

What I am afraid is that gearbox box box box that smbdy says was used already in 120hp engines... after some intake (not shown) mods I have now 0-60 under 8 sec; and its UNDER 8s. with winter stud tires, dunno real yet. That means by weight/hp thumb rule 200hp ? or smtg like that. Heat is not gonna be here a problem; and no real danger of driving hours above 100... so I am not afraid of my engine.

Maybe tranny oil cooler...?

Darn it, there is some damn good discussion on this thread! Seemed to have become a rarity recently.

Matt- you wouldn't by chance have a picture of where you relocated the sensor too would you?

I know that mt CEL never came on even though my knock sensor was/is non-functional. I did a temp bypass with a resistor and it runs great, now I have to save up the money to have it done
Matt - whats up with a pic of where you chose to bolt the KS.

and what temp bypass you do? you make it so your car runs cold all the time?
