Electrical problem

I was hooking up a shift **** that the numbers light up, well i was going to wire it in the light right above the CD player, the little green one. Well i got it all hooked up and stuff and when i turned it on, nothing. So i kept re-doing the wiring to it and eventually i got the light above the cd player to turn on, but only for a second, now i don't think there is any lights on the dash working, what did i do???

It's your tail light fuse IIRC. It happened when I did my foglights to my sidemarkers.

i don't think its the bulb, the wire isn't conducting electricity anymore, what could have caused that?

Do you know where the fuse box is in the cabin? It's right above the hood release latch. You'll see a little hinge right there.
