Fuse???

Fuse???

Hey everyone...quick question...is there a fuse for the keyless entry...mine was working this morning but, when i got out of work they woundlt work...i know over time they get less sensitive, but i dont think thats it because nither side works...thanks guys

Glanced at this page from Craig's FAQs. Didn't jump out at me, but perhaps you could try the theft warning fuses. It's worth a shot until someone who knows responds.

Just check all of your fuses on the inside of the car first, you can rule out some dumb ones, like tail lights and such.

thanks, ya i could check all one by one, but i was hoping someone would know where it was, and if someone had any insight to the problem....thanks for the responces guys, keep them coming!

I know that my taillight fuse pops every three months or so, i guess there is a bad wire somewhere down the line, but i figure i can afford a fuse every three months. As for your keypad if you stop trying to play music with the buttons you probably wont blow anymore fuses. Seriously tho, i would just find the bad fuse, replace it and dont worry about it until it happens again, then worry about it then with what to do.

Thats what i assumed because he has a GXE, and it would only make sense.

it could be the weather, during winter mine didn't work. when the weather got warmer, they started working again. if they still don't work you have to buy the keypad from the dealer.

ya i'm talking about the keypad on the door....thanks for all the advice...ill take a look tomorrow morning for the fuse before i goto work...thanks guys
