Need some help!!!!

hey guys i just wanted some help in setting up new gauges like the temperature, voltage and oil pressure. reason why i am asking is that i have seen a couple of guys that have the gauges installed and i know electrical is the easiet but i ahd a talk with my mecahnic and he said the elesrtical have a larger percent read-out error i dont know how far true that is.

my question is that is there anyone who has any type of advice for on where to place sensor for mechanical gauges on a VE30DE.

The next question is the type of refrigirant for the A/C that i need to use because my car stopped blowing cold air. And i know its not the R34 i think. does anyone know what i need to buy and where to buy the equipment.

thanks.

Best bet would be to use the existing sensor locations. Bye-bye oil light. Hello oil gauge. You will need to use the sensor that came with the gauge. If needed, also grab an adapter fitting. I would tie into the temp location with a 't' so you can use the stock and aftermarket.

Don't know what year your car is, but regardless use the R134. If it is R12 now, retrofit kits are available. R134 is a lot more accessible(R12 hasn't been made in the US for years) and also cheaper. You can buy suicide recharge kits, but I would just have a mechanic do it right. (Unless you have access to an a/c machine) No one wants to find out their compressor failed because they didn't add enough oil with the refrigerant. Especially when it's wicked hot out.

He is basically right, two restricting questions : quality, availability. Electrical meas devices might be [maybe] built as accurate as mechanical....uuhhuh whata statement: now I am preparing my boat to be battle ready.

Btw you would not pay for either accuracy devices, lets juts accept the 'feelings' gauges...

I suggest to save oil warn light with a T adapter.
