I will be replacing struts soon. Do I have to get the same brand mounts as the struts I purchase? I prob. will go kyb but was wondering if I could get the monroe mounts and save myself a couple $$$. Any ideas or thoughts internetautomart? Thanks

 

brand - no. replace - you dont have to, unless yours are worn or cracked. with a car this old, you might as well... but then again, with a car this old - you might as well not. (unless they are cracked)

 

the mounts are all basically the same IMHO
