what do you mean by intake? Do you want a cold air intake, just a filter? Are you just wanting to replace your stock filter with another? We need as many details as you can give us...

Awsm66 has one of those, I'd replace the filter element with a K&N, and it doesn't come with instructions, but its a great buy overall.

thats the same one I have. (I bought my CAI off Ebay also), looks cool and sounds very mean when u step on it. Performance-wise it was ok. Definetly a little more power, but not a whole lot. You gotta start somewhere.

I would buy that and then just use it as a hybrid intake.

Be sure to bust out your dremel or other cutting tool.

I do in fact have the same basic CAI. I like it a lot. Sounds great and I think it helps some in the warm weather.

I have a template hosted (Craig does as well but I dont know the address for it). Its on my 93 site in the FAQs.

I used a hole saw to cut the hole but my friend that made the template used a hole punch and hammer. He just went around and made holes then made them closer then closer until he could snip them or something. Anyway its possible to do without using a dremel or hole saw. You might want to stretch the hole out a little too so you will have a better angle to go down into the fender. I know I had to do that slightly to get it to sit a little better.

***edit***

I didnt use a K&N filter because the filter that came with it was much better than the one that is in that auction. I would never use a filter that has a screen on the end of it. That is not blocking any dust whatsoever...its just blocking big particles...you might as well not run a filter at all with just that screen.

Throw that filter away and at the very least get a cheap APC from autozone. best bet is getting a K&N though.

i also have a question. I have my doubts about these filters and i wanted to know if anyone has had the chance to try them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting they say original Nismo filters but looking at the price i really doubt if they are O.G equipment.

There's been no mention of oiling the filters in this thread. I know with mine (K&N) it is a must. Be sure to follow instructions for yours, or you could end up sucking more than air up the hole.

Did that sound x-rated, or is it just me? buwahahahaha
