A.S.C.D. cancel switch?
I have heard this clicking from near my ecu, in an automatic. It sounds like the click you hear when you press the brake pedal in....Everyonce in a while, I will hear it sound like its going haywire....click, click, click....click, click........
I was wondering what would be causing that? I think its either the stop signal switch, or the A.S.C.D cancel switch...what is the A.S.C.D cancel switch and wtf does it stand for...and how can i check it its bad, i checked connector and it looks ok....the reason I ask is because I think its why its setting my allarm off randomly.

has it been known, or has anyone else had a clicking noise near their ecu infront of the auto shifter, for the stop lamp signal to be faulty...but work correctly under regular conditions...like could it be sending false signals saying the brake was pressed when it wasn't?
