Pacesetter sent you a y-pipe also? Do you have any pics because I want to see how they look (headers and Y-pipe)?

IIRC the headers only work with the supplied y-pipe
and the factory y-pipe only works with the factory manifolds

Newbie question for ya. Girlfriend just got an '89 and I'm wondering what are the usual choices on headers for these cars? I just built a few sets for another type of vehicle and am curious what the selection is out there. Is Pacesetter THE brand and is there a common place on the web to check 'em out?

thanks,

'bird

pacesetter is the only headers for our car i believe...it isnt worth the time needed to make them fit and make the exhaust leek u will have go away....but i gained probably about 7 hp from them it my engine runs much leaner. But it took alot of modification to make the leak go away at the y pipe due to incorrect hardware they sent me.

Any ideas on where to check 'em out at with prices etc? I'm also curious what diameter the piping is and I'd be VERY interested in anyone's opinions on what they think the optimum diameter should be and why.

Here's some I put together for another v6 application.

thanks,
