eibach drop in the back??
eibach drop in the back??
i replaced my intrax springs with used eibachs, the front looks fine.. i can fit 1 finger into the gap.. the back looks a bit high.. i've let the car settle for about 2 weeks now and it doesn't seem like its getting any lower.. there's about a 2 finger gap.. i'm not sure if that's the normal height of a maxima.. can anyone with eibachs springs please let me know if the drop is correct? thanks

I have the opposite problem, 3 finger gap in the front and 1.5 finger in the back. Strange

I think cars look better with the rear end up a little. To me it looks like a more agressive stance, kinda like a RWD car, i think if a car is really low and flat it looks too ricey.

I HATE it when the rear looks lower. The car may be even, but because the wheel wells arent the same height, the rear looks lower alot of times. Most spring companies dont seem to notice this

But wouldnt the springs be designed for the different weight ratios? Im sure the front springs are stiffer than the back because Eibach knows that they will be supporting more weight.

I got Eibach on my system and it looks really weird. Like Mike said, I got about 3 fingers in front and 1.5 on the back. Yeah, mine looks just like Matt's picture. It looks kinda ghetto that the drops were not even front and back.
Ok, now I've heard about shops putting the springs on upside down I think. Whats the giveaway to tell if they are upside down. Not front in rear and rear in front, but I remember hearing issues about upside down.
The Eibachs are a 1.2" drop front and back. In stock form the front is lower than the rear, so it'll be the lower of the two after the install as well. They aren't set up to compensate after the install and lower things evenly. It'll be 1.2 regardless.

That doesnt make sense to me, because a stock car doesnt have the front up higher than the rear. And if it drops exactly 1.2 inches like you say, and doesnt change at all from that number, then shouldnt it be angled EXACTLY how it was when stock, just exactly 1.2 inches lower?
