Is My max totaled?

About a month and a half ago, I had an accident. I was behind an SUV so I decided to get into the right lane, and when I got over there was a 4tonn parked work truck, I was little more then half way into the lane when I hit. It ofcourse bent their bumper about an inch, and blew up their tail light. My max's hood, pass fender, bumper, radiatior, fans, ac lines, power steering lines, front fuse box, intake manifold, core support and maf all destroyed. I bought almost every thing I needed for $350 from the junk yard, same grey color even!

Now that the radiator is off I can see the damage. The pass frame rail is bent, of course the bumper mount, at least one engin mount is broke (the front most one is cracked so engin is leaned to the back/pass side), the ac pump has a dinged pully. Ive got every thing but the core support, metal bumper, some misc lines and the ac lines. I can live w/o AC for now but I just need a car. Theres a barely obvious bend in the pass frame rail, But I think its non citical (its a ground and bumper mount, not too serious) and I can bend it my self (with tools and common sense of course)

I really dont mind the work, but I want to know if my car is going to be worth it to fix. I bought the car in jan from my mom for $1000, and It was a blast to drive. I was going to put f/r sway bars on it soon too. I love this car, and I really dont want to give it up, but if I have to I will. Are there going to be major other problems? If its just a handfull of minor problems I can deal with them later. I just need a car right now. I wouldn't take me that long to fix the max If I had a core support and metal bumper, Id just need an alighnment. But if there are other problems I guess Id just part it out. Its a VG and the motors got 165k, with most of them being highway miles. The intiorer is perfect and the car was great before. Ill get pics ater today, Im going to go to my friends, where it is now and strip it some more. LMK what you guys think.

PS more info on the crash, the work truck was parked about 8 feet from a exit from a krogers, they were changing the sign, and were about done. The guy said he was going to move the truck the daybefore but it was "too busy" right...Its too busy to move a huge *** truck, when your staying in a conned off lane? I was about ready to sucker punch the guy after he said that.......GRR

considering you have just about every part to make a new maxima, maybe you could find a maxima cheap somewhere.....I know a girl was trying to sell her black 1990 SE in dayton for like 300 bucks, said it had bad tranny, but there is a body for you and youd just have to maybe swap in your stuff, or heck i dont know sell all your parts and buy something else....

pm if you want that phone number i still got it.

Maxzilla- The VG intake runs right in front of the engin, im sure in front end collisions a broken IM is pretty common. As well as that stupid fuse box in front of the battery. BTW do you own any R/C's?

tripleGmax- YGPM!
