One of my friends is getting me a deal at Car Quest Auto Parts where I can get any muffler I want for my max for wholesale cost. It needs a new one cause the one I have now is starting to rust. Anyways, I was just wondering which one you guys think I sould get. I can get just about any kind you can think of. I'm getting it on Tuesday so I wanted to ask you guys before I go to get it. Any kind of muffler? I say go for a GReddy. If you want a quiet muffler then get a 2K max muffler. If you want a loud deep/throaty V8 sounding muffler then get a DTM style exhaust. I had a Tsudo DTM on my max and everyone gave me compliments even domestic guys (probably cuz it sounded more like a V8 rather then a weed-wacker). Another one of my favorite mufflers are Remus. They are one of the best mufflers that reduce back-pressure. Too bad they are meant for German cars and they cost around $600 just for the muffler alone. They look great on 3rd gens.
