shifter **** hell

so today I decided to replace my shifter ****, because the leather was pealing off *Wahhh*

So then i thought, I'll buy a new one, well first I accidently bought this really tall one, and then I got the plastic universal thread crap stuck in there, took me an hour to get it out. Finally when I get the shifter in place.... my car is no longer a car. Now it's a truck.... if you get my drift. that shifter is talll.... and I didnt even know I grabbed a tall shifter ****. So my question is, where can i get a quality leather short shifter **** for our maximas? possibly pre threaded for our cars

If your lookin for a new shift **** then I would look at getting a AE edition ****. Theyre pretty good lookin and all and I think that they are even threaded the same also......not sure on that though. Check the FAQ stickies for parts and give Courtesy a call, I think that theyll have one for you.

mmmmmmmmm AE shift **** Its threaded for the Maxima so no crazy unreliable allen screws to hold it on.

Here is mine...I will be updating soon since I got my black carpet installed finally.

Of course knowing Cardomain these pics will not show. If not go to my 92SE site and look at my interior page.

lol you need to read more...

also take another look (below or on my page if the pic doesnt show). That carpet was only temporary while it was too cold to replace...its history now though.

it is ready for paint. As soon as the pollen dies down a little in the next week or so it will be painted...then sold.

oh and dont feel bad about missing the black carpet. I havent posted about it and that is the only pic I have because the interior has been apart doing my ACC and HUD installation. I have it back together now so I will probably take a bunch of interior pics tomorrow if its nice enough to clean it up.

Is that the AE Shift **** on your car? If it is, it looks a lot like this "limited edition" shift **** that i saw on ebay that was supposed to come off a limited edition maxima or osmething. I'm having a hard time finding those AE Shift ***** too, can someone point me in the right direction? :-D

Mike, you know I'm awaiting your new interior pics, your interior =

but whats the deal with the floormat, isnt that out of an 89 or a 90? I have an extra set of those, not telling how I got them though, but why not use some nice ones with "MAXIMA" stitched by the hole for the bracket?

Well its the only factory mats I have...if I had some of the others I would use them instead. I think these actually came out of my 90GXE. I had another set of black ones that were the same way but cant remember what car they came out of.

oh and here are some pics for tonight...I will post more tomorrow if I clean up the interior

man whats with you trying to dog my stuff lately...first the floor mats and now the tint patch...give it up already...you dont want me to start on your car hehehe just messing with ya.

Seriously though it could be a little smaller but its really not bad. Depending on how you adjust your seat the display will be in different spots. I wanted it big enough to cover all the digits if I move my seat. It doesnt look that big in person but it is a little bigger than I wanted him to cut it (not by much though).
