g box info

well i did alot of research before i installed this g box module and i will say dont install it. It will trash your car...It replaces your Intake Air Temperature(With the MAF). I dont like the idea of splicing something that leads to the ecu.. I popped the box open to find a resistor you can buy for 20 cents. I sent back and got refund. Cheaper mods...chitty performance

Obviously, you didn't do enough research.

If you would have used your money to gain access to the search feature ($20 donation to Maxima.org), you would have saved yourself the hassle of having to return it.

Let me get this straight.

You did some research and found that it would be useless and damaging to your car.

You bought the product anyway.

Now you are mad because you are getting flamed for it?

Or did you buy the product first, then do some research?

Either way, you probably deserve to get flamed.

Maybe because you actually installed it after doing your research?

Dude, you aren't going to win this argument. Lighten up. Everyone makes mistakes and at least you didn't leave it on your car and potentially harm your engine.

Even if the thing was free, you should never have installed it and never considered using it, especially once you "researched" what it was.

If you want to improve your performance, there are lots of proven modifications found all over this board. If you want to fiddle with the electronics, invest a few hundred in an SAFC II and go to town. MrGone even has instructions in the stickies on how to wire it.

Why call someone an idiot because your neighbor decided to install something on his car then get's blasted afterwards? You should read what was written before jumping the gun. I can say that you are acting very idiotic by even jumping into the conversation and saying that one is an idiot. It's really to even take offense to what he said because he stated the obvoius. Oh well I'm not looking in this thread anymore so post away. Good night.
