Air conditioning question

I got the A/C belt and other drivebelts changed and tried to use the Air conditioning but no cold air is coming out. Reason I replaced A/C belt is because it had tore apart when I bought the car.I have a 1992 Maxima GXE auto. does this car have R12 or R134A freon usage.

it should be R12 unless someone converted it. You will know if its been converted because there will be a different connector on the low side.

Look on the bottom of your hood though...that will tell you what you have (again unless its been converted).

when you say low side you mean on the of the compressor or by the left front grille.
