Just wondering. I have to jump back and forth just to make sure I don't miss anything. This forum has a nicer look and feel though. Oh well...

Just seems redundant. At least I don't have to type my information in each time I post on this site.

This is a "new" site.. there have been several "iterations" of the "main" Maxima forum over the last several years.

the 3rd gen board has been there since I became involved with maxima.org 2 years ago. this site is only a few months old- created by Jamie Sanford (Jambo) because the person who ran the other forum decided he no longer wanted to deal with it and shut his site down.

the other one is a 3rd gen only site.. others are certainly welcome, but the bbs is designated for 3rd gen max enthusiasts...

this site is a "general" site for all maxima enthusiasts and has many more members.

basically it's somewhere else to go.
IF you didn't know it, there are 3 or 4 other boards that I can think of right now. Shing has a board set up, ThurzNite used to have one- it crashed and he never revived it, Russ has a site, the SoCal group has one, the NW guys have one, there's on on yahoo forums, and there's also an alt.nissan.maxima newsgroup. I think it's alt.nissan.maxima anyway.. it's been well over a eyar since I've touched it. my point: these aren't the only two forums out there.
