Offset question

Apologies if I missed it in the stickies, but what's the maximum offset for rims on the 3rd gen? Or more specifically, is a 17x7/7.5 rim with a +48 offset possible?

Sounds a little high to me. +40 might fly.

hmm... yeah I also sort of had a feeling anything above 42 was pushing it.
