I have a 1990 Max SE and I would like to purchase the side lights that can be drilled along side the front quarter panel just before the front doors. I believe they are called European (city lights). Please let me know the correct name, installation procedures as well as a place to purchase these items. EMAIL address: MACK2064@hotmail.com...Thanks!

City Lights are different.. They are low beam lights that turn on during day-time driving. I had blue ones in my old maxima. What you are refering to is called Turn Signal Repeaters. They are lights that are on the sides of your fender (like European cars). To install them, you need to drill a hole, wire the lights to your turn signal lead power wire (you will need to ask someone else for this info because I can not help you since I've never done this mod before). After that your pretty much done.

Make sure that the lights that you purchase dont have a nut on the back side of them. BC if they do you have to take the fender off of our cars to install them. I have ones made by APC that have two small screws that hold the lights on. This means that I have 3 holes on esch side but it saved me $ in having the fender taken off and put back on.

Actually sidemarkers are not the same as turn signal repeaters. Most USDM cars have sidemarkers. You can notice them very well on the 5th gen Max. It's the yellow light that is on the front side bumper. You can now buy clears for them. Anyway, turn signal repearters are different because of their location and some of them do not turn on with the parking lights.
