Does any one know if the heads from a 92-93ish pathfinder are any diffrant from my 93 vg30 in my max.
Compression ratio?
any larger ports?
what is the stats on that motor
I think it makes more torque but how?

All VG30E's share the same head...the power specs are different due to different tuning in the intake tract, the ECU programming, etc... the intake manifold seems to make the biggest difference...I can never remember, but I want to say that longer runners in the intake will boost torque, at the expense of upper end HP, while shorter runners boost HP, at the expense of torque (IIRC)...I could have those backwards, though...
They could possibly have a different grind on the cams also to give it more torque.I am not sure but it woudl make sens that in a 4x4 untlity they would change the cam for the more torque.that woudl be the most cost conserving thing to do.. recasting the heads and such would cost SO much money they didnt need to spend.
