Direct fit cat?
Direct fit cat?
I just received a "direct fit cat" I ordered from autozone. My question is is this a direct fit cat - It is a 12" cat with an included clamp and extension pipe. Should it be all one piect to be called "direct fit". Also flow direction is not indicated, are these meant to be installed one direction or another. Has anyone purchased Warpspeed HI-Flow 2.5" CarSound Catalytic Converter listed on E-bay for $99, are these one piece with flanges on both ends, and are they good?
Check out Catco high-flo cats from summitracing.com =)
I would think 'direct fit' means you'd get something the exact same size and shape as a stock cat, that just bolts into place. Sounds like the one you got from Autozone might be more of a 'universal' fit, where you use that extension pipe to determine the length of the cat.
I have a Catco cat on my Probe, but it's hollowed out. Basically a cat-shaped test pipe =)

Carsound is Magnaflow's parent company, so by saying carsound magnaflow is included
