It's feels good to be flush

I got the other headlight finally done, and put on a 60 minute grill.... Cuz it took 60 minutes.

There's a past thread about this project if someone wants to search it for refereance.

The grill is just sitting in there... it's not lined up perfect for you critial types. :nervous:

sick! good job man. you're ride is looking better and better. don't really care for that kit though, but your wrx tails plus your custom head/corner job kicks ***.

Jim_1990SE May 24, 2005 05:59 AM

It would take me awhile to get used to the corner lenses, because they look so much different without the regular cover. But good work, it looks clean.

maxitech May 24, 2005 06:30 AM

NICE

I bet you could make some cash selling that setup. I know I would buy one!

mtnbikeair May 24, 2005 06:35 AM

It would probably be way too expensive to want to buy. He put alot of time in on those lights, and probably got way to frustrated to want to do it again haha.

maxitech May 24, 2005 06:39 AM

That's probably true. A write-up at some point would be a great contribution to the org

Once again, nice job!

Maxzilla91 May 24, 2005 06:42 AM

simply awsome.. is that corner light what u get after ripping off the lens?

Just search for one, because i know he did a post while he was working on it earlier that explained almost everything. And you have the power to search so its a good time to put it to use.

twinkle May 24, 2005 07:52 AM

tripleGmax May 24, 2005 08:04 AM

subs1000w May 24, 2005 10:32 AM

NineOhSE May 24, 2005 11:12 AM

NICE!! I really like the way the turn signals came out

goon9 May 24, 2005 12:44 PM

Thanks fellas, it was a real dragged out project. Yeah... if someone could seach the past thread it's under
wade covers/ flush headlights. something thing like that. All the information is in it.

I couldn't get enough money to make another set.... It's over 400 in the parts I used not including the paint, bondo, wire, solder, etc.

OBEEWON May 24, 2005 12:57 PM

The most beautiful lights ive ever seen on a maxima. If i buy my car back i will be doing that.

T93Max May 24, 2005 01:04 PM

goon9 May 24, 2005 01:31 PM

The highs are 120watt.. it's pointless to take a pic lol. I kinda want orange halos... All the 'super white' one fade and turn green. And the blue ones are too illegeal.

xnyc May 24, 2005 09:17 PM

niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Josh May 24, 2005 09:21 PM

many props, they look nice and look like you put alot of work into them.

VEvolution May 24, 2005 10:40 PM

awesome front look.. IMO tho, it would look a bit more complete with a nice nissan logo, or maybe a GT-R logo :chuckle: or maybe even a small 4DSC logo right there in the center of the grille. nothing too ricey. to ME it looks a bit empty, but cool either way

lophix May 24, 2005 10:50 PM

i wasn't really a fan of the e36 lights..but you take the cake. If I were to ever change mine out, those would be the choice...(minus the orange bulb, or maybe something to reflect it/spread the glow)
Beautiful work.

imported_Maxima_Mike May 24, 2005 11:37 PM

omg, that looks totally awesome! When do the little projectors inside the corners come on?

Wiking May 25, 2005 12:45 AM

Btw. "It's feels good to be flush" ...err is flush a synonyme for broke? Now what u must do, is to make a product from this...

and then get sued by wade auto :tardsmash

goon9 May 25, 2005 06:01 AM

Thats another good reason i wouldn't make another set, I don't wanna get sued by wade, nor piolt lighting, nor the no name brand that makes the headlights.

The projectors light up when i signol that side. I'll get more pics.

Wiking, I meant it felt good to be flush.. because without the wade covers there the lights were dipped under the hood, now it's all flush.

Maximum Depth May 26, 2005 10:21 AM

Nice job, therealgoon9. The wrap-around looks better than I thought it would. What do you use to secure the Wade covers to the car?

magicdonjohn May 26, 2005 11:04 AM

thats tite. u will get many props for that

Chris91SE May 26, 2005 11:34 AM

Alot of expoxy, a few small screws, some body sealant, bondo, praimer, paint.

shavedmax May 27, 2005 05:28 AM

looks good buddy! the tails done yet? LOL

goon9 May 27, 2005 01:11 PM

Ha, no.... I need a garage, the niebhors get PISSED when they see bondo dust on their cars.

Kikcaffine May 27, 2005 03:51 PM

Your car looks awesome Tim. Im gonna lurk around on these forums for a bit being a smart ***, and trying to put in the few good pieces of information I have. You should put the Scion tC kit on yours, like I did on mine, it makes your maxi look completly different!

goon9 May 27, 2005 07:29 PM

Now the noobs will be all over the scion body.....

tripleGmax May 27, 2005 07:33 PM

lol what? scion huh.

MaximaBalla May 30, 2005 11:16 AM

I want to see a pic of this Max with a Scion bodykit. Personally, the xB or whatever one looks like a kleenex box with wheels looks sooo ugly!! lol Toyota really went whack when they started building these things.
