pay for input/mainshaft rebuild?

pay for input/mainshaft rebuild?

is this the best option? sounds like i'd have to invest in a decent amount of money on special tools for the job. hydraulic press, ect.. what would i expect to pay to have them rebuilt professionally? seems like a couple hour job for a experienced mech. if that..
