'93 SE vs '94 SE
#1
What are key differences? Did the '94 ever get a passenger side airbag (and if so... did it get conventional 3 point belts I could swap in to my '93??). I know the VTC assemblies are supposedly different. What else? Always looking to upgrade

I think the airbag was standard in the 94, and it lost the auto seatbelt thing on it..
the VTC problem was supposedly fixed before the 94 production schedule, but I dunno on that one..
don't really worry about the differences between the 93 and 94 SE.. they're tiny and/or a major hassle to replace.
the auto seat belts have frames built around it.. the "regular" seat belts have different mounting positions.. it'll be a PIA to mount regular seat belts into the positions of the old ones.

That's what I'd heard somewhere, but I dunno if it's true or not.. doesn't sound like it though. it doesn't exactly make sense to make a change that big during production, but I dunno. the canadian models don't have them.
it'll be almost impossible to convert to "Regular" belts from the automatic system though.. even if you could get belts and the buckles and stuff, you'd have to cut and weld on the top of the B pillar- that's not something anyone should be messing with.
