i backed out the back lights on my max, i wanna know wat u all think

but hows the visibility to people behind you at night??

 

The black hardly affects it watsoever! I was suprised when i painted them that the lights are extremely visible, even during the day!

 

what did you use to paint them? did you remove the pieces or did you just mask the car off? Nice job. Looks great on a white car

 

Where is that car at? because the indention for the tag is alot bigger than the in the US.

also, you'll notice from the back that they have rear foglights (so do UK models)

 

I need to do that to mine...Where do you get the paint to do it?

 

The paint i just got at an automotive shop here in Australia, its called night shades, it just comes in a normal spray can. I didnt know how to get the lights off so i just masked the areas surrounding the lights. I blacked out the rear fog lights as well, but tell u a secret, they are only for looks, take the covers off and there is nothing behind there.

it looks rilly good. another idea i saw someone do on a 90 se in charcol was paint the lights black but have two gts cutouts on each side, the lil circles and it looked great

Hey there's a car in that picture too! Thats funny do the Aussie and UK cars not have spoilers? I really like how those maxes look. Does it have a VG or VE?

 

Some Aussie and UK max's have spoilers. In Australia there is the Ti and Executive model for this gen max. I'm not sure whether it is a VG or VE engine. Not even sure wat the diff is - could you fill me in??

 

hey you back lights are hot. i was thinking about doing that to my max. everything on my car is white. everything. so i was thinking about blacking out my rear lights. lookn' good.
