There is a lever in the trunk just under the latch. Push it up all the way. Try that first

Is it possible to give a litte more info/details on what is not working ?
-Does the lever move at all ?
-Do you hear any movement at the the rear mechanism when you do move the lever ?
-When the trunk is open and you pull the lever....anything ?

Detailed description may get addition feedback.

same with me, it is the opnly thing wrong with my car. my lever pulls, and i hear it moving all the way into the trunk, but nothing, i pushed the button in the trunk up, opened it, then closed it, tried it once more, then nothing. sometimes thw switch doesnt even work. i mean when i flip the switch in the trunk, most of the time it doesnt work. is it a stretched cable???
