Motor Swap got a Question

Motor Swap got a Question

Okay I have a sohc now but I need to know will all my external parts distributor,intake etc. fit onto the DOHC? you guys were alot of help in the past so I hope you can help me now thanks guys and gals

Come on the forum more often and you would already know the answer to that. No offsense, but if you are swapping an engine out yourself, that is VERY basic information.

has anyone bothered to drop a VE in a (normally) VG max? ...+tranny +ecu +axles +clutch? wow okay that i write it out i see what a waste of money it is

id love to see somone mod the VGs distributor to work on a VE it sure would cost less then replacing 6 coils.

then theres the carb convertion which would also be cheaper then replacing 6 injectors plus much easier to tune

and you wouldnt have to worry about any ECU wireing harness just run 12v ignition to the coil and maybe electric choke and then the wire for the coolent temp sender and oil pressure switch
