One Touch Sunroof Control?

I have always liked on the Audi's (and many more, I just happen to own an Audi) how you can hit the button and the roof opens all the way, and on newer models, the same with closing it. Is there any way we can add this to our 3rd Gens? Also, would it be possible to somehow take the wire that is involved with the security system, and run it to the window/sunroof relay, so when the doors are locked, the windows and sunroof close? Let me know if you have any ideas.

how good are you with wiring?
the window/sunroof...DEI makes a window roll up module and i'm going to assume you can wire it as a one touch sunroof also.

My dads 5th gen maxima closes the sunroof when you turn the car off, so maybe you could look into that switch.

The DEI module will only work for one touch open. If you one touch close, it will continue to close until the sunroof is in the tilt position. There is a workaround, but it depends on how desperate you are to get this feature to work reliably for your needs.

Actually, it's going to be more than wiring in this case (iirc)

The sunroof close is a "2-stage mechanical" method for safety. (Mechanical emphasized) Just changing the switch itself most likely won't work. because of this.
You can't really use the DEI 529 or 530T modules for absolute 1-touch / remote control because it will still involve you pushing the button after it reaches the safety stop anyways which defeats the purpose. To successfully do this, you'll have to somehow remove that safety feature with the result being you hold the close button and it closes all the way without stopping. THEN, you can add the DEI or whatever module to it.
