considering the majority of shift boots made are a universal fit , i was looking at it in my maxima, and the boot kinda sits in a square area but in most other cars it's more of a circle shape , do those universal fit ones work? i found a nice ichibahn boot for 25$ nice blue to match the shift **** i bought and my cars color , i was just wondering if the ichibahn would fit or if a place like redlinegoods.com makes the boot specially for the maxima??

What exactly is your question? I have a redlinegoods one and it is cut specifically for the Maxima. I'm guessing a universal one will work (hence "universal"), just might not look as good.

 

redlinegoods...they made it exactly like the stock one.

 

the question was pretty much "would an ichibahn fit" cause the bottom is more circular shaped like in most cars if you look where the boot meets the plastic , it's not a square shape like in a maxima.
