What is the trans code of the VG trans

Like the title says what is the trans code of the VG trans. Is it the same as the VE trans (and VQ for that matter).

AutoMatic:

VG RE4F02 (7L)
VE RE4F04 (9L)
VQ ?

The oil capacity (xL) tells smtg about tranny pwr design calculations, 04 can 'handle more'.

the VQ uses the RE4F04A like the vE, but they aren't externally interchangeable

since i saw no mention of whether it had to be auto or manual the 5-speeds are:

RS5F50A - non-vlsd
RS5F50V - vlsd

borg warner seems to like keeping the tranny code the same even though they're different. (i.e. the code is the same for the VG/VE and VQ yet the VQ has a totally different bell housing bolt pattern.) i hate borg warner

it's not only borg.
every company I can think of keeps the trans name the same regardless of what bellhousing it has on it.
example : Jeep cherokee has an A240E trans, same trans a RWD toyotas. same internals, so the trans code remains the same.
