I used the mothers clay bar kit, you wash your car then spray a section with the detail spray they give you then go over it with the clay bar, then wipe the excess off, then i used the bottle of wax they give you with the kit. i did it all by hand, and i used the bar on the glass and the paint.

Nice job.

That's the first time I've seen that gauge cluster (not the carbon fiber). I thought all '92-on models all had the OD-Off indicator to the left of the TEMP/FUEL gauges.

99% of the cluster looks the same with the other GXEs from the same year. It's just that little detail.

It might be because you have a non-airbag equipped model. On my car, the air bag indicator is where the O/D Off indicator is on your car.

Those pics look great !
I have just recently seen this product in the local store and wondered about it's value. What I see is good enough for me to give it a try.

2 Questions:
a. How would you rate the quality of the paint surface to begin with ?
---> Did you need to remove any tar/markings etc...first(the kind of mark that would require a little rubbing compound after a good wash) ?

b. What was your initial expectation and then, what was your resulting impression ?

The paint was in ok shape definetly a lot of contaminents you could feel them if you brushed your hand on the surface

there werent any marks on their that required rubbing compund

this definetly met my expectations it did just as the box said now my car feels smooth as glass definetly worth the 18 bucks including tax i dropped for the kit

Your grandmother called and she wants the light blue autotragic four door back

Just playin. Detail work looks nice.

It's kind of strange seeing a black cluster that only goes to 125 and a 6k redline
