PVC valves and cussin'

I tried to get to that PCV valve this morning, and I guess needlenose pliers aren't gonna do it. I could squeeze that clamp but not actually move it, and there just ain't much space.

Those who have, how did you get to that sucker?

needle nose is adequate, I did it in less than 1 minutes, key is to work from the side. Once the clamp is compressed, just try your best to move it from side to side first, then up and away from the pcv valve

also helps to spray lube on it to move the clamp

i did it without the upper intake on so that made it really easy

I use needle-nose locking pliers. Works like a charm.

I picked up a LONG needle nose plyer with a bent end, works great.

Now the bent end sounds JUST like what the doctor ordered.

At the time I was glad i didn't have a claw hammer nearby.
