Cefiro Question

How many people have tried the Cefiro headlight conversion???????

Cause I was lookin through some older pics on my comp and I found one of a Cefiro, and I started lookin at the front end and thinkin I might want to try it. Some on here might laugh at me, but I have friends in body shops that know what theyre doin and whatnot to give me a helping hand and if theres any wiring to be done then that will be up to me.

But anywho I was just wondering how much the headlights and grille and side markers are goin for and where can I get them???????
Thanks

a few have done it. they arent a snug fit from what ive seen. and as far as your friends being able to do bodywork, youll need them with the pictures ive seen. our grille and headlights are way bigger. youd have to buy them from Japan maybe through ebay if youre lucky or find a place on the internet that will get them for you.

too much work for some headlights, my e36s were plenty of work.

Also I think you have to get rid of the AC in order to fit them in since they are very deep. I asked a guy that did them (Maxininct) and he said that the flange going to the AC core got in the way and he coudlnt figure out anything to do with it so he just got rid of it.

step 1. pay the owners of the forum some money
step 2. benefit from of the posts and knowledge of other members just like yourself
step 3. site administration goes shopping
step 4. you appear to be a worthy member
step 5. you realize that every other forum on the internet has a free offtopic forum and urges you to use the search feature before posting and gets upset if you don't.
step 6. wish you had donated the money to the individuals whose knowledge was benificial.

yeah I know I need to donate the 20 and search, but I was looking for some help outside of the search function.

Thanks for not laughin though......

I know it would be a lot of work, but in my eyes I think it would be worth it cause even though it would be a Maxima, it would be a Maxima that people would second guess as to what it is......you know what I mean.

Plus with these gas prices I was thinkin of gettin into a lil civic for my daily haul to work and whatnot, but I just really like my VE and would be sad to lose it.....problems and all..........So I figured if Im keepin it then I want to keep it nice and clean and basically lookin as good as the other Orgers cars on here that stand out. I am gonna be tearin into my engine rebuild soon, and assuming all goes well then I just want a reasonably quick but sleek Maxima in the end.
thanks for the help all......
