My centercaps are lookin like el'crappo. They are scratched, peeling, and just look bad. I just got a couple cans of Duplicolor Ice Blue Metallic to respray my side trim, and I was looking for opinions on wether I should spray the center caps thesame?

 

personnaly i do not think so,unless you painted the whole wheel but even then i would say no.. wiht just the center done i think it owudl lok funny.

my onl advvice woudl be the get some of that dupilcolor wheel paint in silver and do the whole wheel... or maybe go to a sticker or sign shop and get a vinyl that matches as close as [possible maybe.

if this is that tough of a decision then spray a peice of paper and cover the cap with the paper and see what it looks like

i thought the rims look better with no center caps anyway.

 

dont do it, instead sent them to me. i cant find them localy no matter how hard i look.

 

Here is the wheel painted with some cheap chome paint....Ran out before i could shoot the center caps....

 

You can buy them on ebay for about $5 each. I don't know why you would bother putting cheap paint on them.

If you had the ability to do a good job with quality paint or powdercoat, maybe paint all four wheels and tires. Cheap paint will chip off quickly and look worse than the peeling stock clear coat.

 

get new rims , the stock ones are ugly to begin with

be careful, the GXE center caps do not fit the SE wheels

 

my center caps are stock black.....i accidently clicked same color as car...car is black so the kinda are...where can you get the chrome ones

 

Stock Black??? Chrome = can-o-paint.

 

i disagree. i'd actually say they look better than your black ones in that picture...just my opinion though.
