Please Help

yesterday i was cruzing around with my friends and i was being kinda of hard with my car trying to keep up with there cars(evo, s2000, wrx) and on my way out of a parking lot i floored it and spun my wheels. ever since my wheels spun a noise louder than my muffler seems to be coming from my engine. everything works properly but the noise is too loud. i didnt have time to really look at it yet but i was hoping someone could tell me things to check for mybe my y pipe but it seems to be coming from the actual engine.
thanks for any helpful seggestions

You have a gxe and your wheels spun? Well, I would say an exhuast manifold stud or two has broken. Check them all and get back with us....and try to keep up with slower cars next time.

Not that bad; you will lose performance, and a lot of low end. You should be fine though, I have a small leak from there, and have been driving for a while.

Long term effects of broken manifold studs is usually warping of the flange[mating surface] on the manifold.....

If you want to keep up with those cars, you need a 350z + boost or sumthin'
maybe check the motor mounts too?

Parts will be cheap, but the labor will empty your wallet quickly....Get several quotes from different shops...guessing i would say $300 to $600....maybe more.

average shop repair price is about $300 per manifold.. so $600 to do the whole engine.

I'd do it yourself if you have the tools, num chuck skillz, and time.
