shifter bushing?

shifter bushing?

well i was swapping my custom interior into my 90 se i got yesterday and i noticed the shifter just sits on the cat. the bushing it totally gone. how can i fix this i called local parts stores and they said its dealer item is there any cheap after market alternative? i thought of just making a metal bracket. any one else had this problem? all help is appreciated. thanks.

Don't know if it helps you, maybe if you'll fabricate your own bushing, but here's a picture of how it's suppose to look.

I just sucked it up and ordered a new one when I put in my short shifter, got a new bushing where it hooks to the trans. also.
