NEW maxima? To each his own but I don't care for them. The '03 though... man. Has the nice looking body and the 3.5L... I'd take one of those.

That's still a nice looking max you're losing though.

I hate to say it but you wont even get the price of your paint job back. KBB value on a Max our age is like 3k.

unless you paid extra to cover the upgrades you made to your car, most insurance only covers about 1K of add ons like stero equipment and stuff. I doubt the paint job would count in that. you'll probably only get like 3K for the car if you're lucky - they may even ding you for the mods becasue it makes the car harder to strip and sell for parts.

hey, at least you don't have to sell it now, i remember you were trying to a while back..sorry to hear about the accident. rear endings suck, you have almost no control over whether or not it happens.

I know this sucked but be happy all you got is a busted up car. A 93 y/o woman hit me, totalled my NX and crushed my hip. I take solice that she will die soon/ Sounds harsh but you have your crushed hip "manipulated" just once, go ahead I dare you.

That is just painful...darn old ladies on the road. My ex got her Windstar totalled by an old lady who thought that the yellow line was a turn lane...Alzheimer's is no joke.

nice lookin truck. I'm more of a go fast than look good guy, but it's a good lookin truck. I wouldn't mind towing my race car to the track in it.

pinemont tires in the background, part of a TX plate... so you're in NW houston?

you should meet up with us sometime.... or maybe you have and I just don't remember names and faces.

Yeah I got a little simple perfomance mods on it. Intake, MAF, Exhaust, ECU Tuned.

My dad's shop is right off 290 and Pinemont, don't think I ever went to a meet.

What insurance company was this? It's good to know there's one out there that will compensate for money invested in customizing an early 90's Maxima.

You could always cheat the system and use the "injury money" to repair the car or add other mods...just a thought.

sweet ride, i've always loved the silverados. so what exactly happened to the 3rd gen after the accident? what made you change your mind from getting a TL and jumping into a Silverado? your 3rd gen was a sick ride.

What did you end up doing with your old 3rd gen? Since it was just the rear end smashed.. did you buy it back after it was totalled? And got alil less than 10k from insurance? Then you made out pretty good. lol

if you didn't notice the 3 year bump, he didn't buy the TL.

I too am very impressed you got 10k for the max, how long did you have to wait for it to settle? My aunt was rear ended in her acura integra about 5 years ago and still has not settled yet.

I had to wait a little more than a year, but worth the wait.
