Anyone make their own Angel eyes???

I know I have seen someone around here that made their own set of angel eyes out of acrylic rod. I finally found a source for clear rod here http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=147

What do you tink on size?? I'm thinking 3/8th or 1/2 inch. Opinions?

You sorta need mw headlights to put them into. I donno if you ever looked into your stok headlights. But thereisn't anything to mount the rings into. And if they were done with a stock headlight. It'll look pretty ghetto.

I just bought aftermarket e36's with the rings already installed. but they're not ccfl or led. Their 194 bulbs. I wish i had ccfl's.

if you buy the bmw headlights with the angel eyes and you go to put them in the max , dont they not sit right , i saw a 3rd gen and the guy had to cut out parts of his radiator housing and parts of the support on the sidees of the lights and ****.. cause they are longer in the back , link me to what you have if they are a direct fit.. ive been wanting to do the angel eye thing for a while now. just could never figure out what to get to do it.
